| Comments: | My name is Caroline and I used to have two Japanese button quails but just a few days ago one passed on. The one who survived was doing fine- Eating, drinking, peeping, sleeping. I always have exercised them. They were not handled all of the time. Then when we were on a 5 day vacation my dad noticed something on Carly(the bird) head. When we got home it was bigger. It is large, , dark, it feels crusty. It isn't very large right now but we don't know what it is. She has been eating the same food. What is it. Is it from stress or diet.
